For all the RRE fans out there, here's the LMA link to their Hill Holler Stage set. I knew it was going to be good when the set opened with "Head" (down SDH, sit craven....)

Track 7 is as yet untitled, but it was as good a jam we heard all festival....

uu - Not sure if you saw, but RRE was just added to the Festy lineup and will close Festy Sunday evening. It's going to be a great Festy. Infamous Stringdusters, Marco Benevento, Della Mae, John Scofield Uber Jam Band, Aoife O'Donavan and Railroad Earth......57 days and counting. Dust off your camping gear and join us?

The RRE Workshop set was phenomenal. They were playing opposite Gogol Bordello - an interesting and very entertaining group - too bad the GB musicians were absolute dick heads and arrogant "gypsy punk" douchebags with how they treated to Catering Tent staff.

Anyway, saw GB for about 15 minutes and then headed off to catch the RRE Workshop set. Like you said, they really deliver at FF and are huge crowd favorites.

What? I see the word "head" and I should automatically go "down"?

I'm hurt.

Sorry, by now you realize that whenever I see the opportunity to bring the discourse down to the level of a 6th grade boys locker room, I can't help myself.

At least you didn't have to 'sit' on it. Talk about hurt.
I couldn't tell if it was a snake wearing a sweater, or a
snail wearing a vest and helmet. Thanks ayml nitrite.
When do I get to play find-the-periscope-in-the-tea cup-in-
the blankets?

Glad 7th grade starts in a week...

Yes, indeed. I enjoyed listening to that.

THey got cut off short in Atlanta during the rain and most of the botanical gardens show was Bruce Hornsby. I didn't get to go because I'm living my own personal "this old house" episode and can't afford extras just now in favor of hot showers and electric lighting ( of the sort that won't burn my house down)... but it did pain me a little less that I would have missed most of them even if I had been there.

My brother in law volunteers at FF and he was going on about having fun with Hot Tuna. He took a close up Picture of Jack's hands that was cool...

Their acoustic set was fantastic, but I missed their electric set. It was right in the middle of a microburst downpour Sunday afternoon and the Hill Holler stage was already a calf deep mud pit from the 6" of rain the day before. I need to sort through my pics and get the good ones posted. I didn't take near as many pics this year because of the weather, but I do have some pretty good ones.

Hell, come to think of it....I need to post a Floydfest 12 after action report.
